Find your way around WConvert

Know where to create campaigns, find submissions, read reports and change site-wide settings.

On this page

Before you start

Open WConvert from the WordPress admin menu. These core sections are available in Free. Installed Pro features add controls inside them; the License screen is separate.

A campaign holds an offer, its screens, display rules and destinations. A saved submission is a record in Leads. Start with your first campaign if you want a complete walkthrough.

Choose the right section

The four main WConvert sections
SettingWhat it means
CampaignsCreate a campaign, continue a draft, edit a published campaign or open its report. Search and status filters help find older work.
AnalyticsRead results by goal, campaign and date. Set monthly targets or export campaign metrics.
LeadsFind submitted details, inspect an individual submission and its send status, or export records.
SettingsManage connections, spam protection, data and privacy, and site-wide visitor experience settings.

The same person can appear in several submissions. Campaign results can also count actions that do not create a lead, such as an offer-link click.

Find controls inside a campaign

The campaign editor
SettingWhat it means
Edit → ScreensChoose a screen, select text or a field, and adjust its content. Canvas and Flow show different views of the campaign.
Edit → LookSet shared colors, fonts and layout. Browse designs and formats here.
Display rulesChoose pages, visitors, opening behavior, repeat limits and dates.
DestinationsChoose whether to keep submissions in WConvert only or send them to configured services.
PreviewInspect the design and try its form flow. This does not prove live capture or delivery.
Save draft / Review & publishSave work, then separately review and publish what visitors should see.

Follow one test through the plugin

  1. Open a campaign and identify its goal and publication status.
  2. Use Preview to check the form, then publish it on a test page.
  3. Submit the actual form once and find the saved record in Leads.
  4. In Analytics, select Today and the same campaign. Read the named result, rather than comparing unrelated totals.
