Compare the capability.
Then check the plan.

A check means documented support, not identical behavior. A cross means outside the product’s scope. “Confirm” means the reviewed information is incomplete or inconsistent.

¹ We could not verify a native A/B testing setup and plan in the reviewed sources. This is not a claim that Depicter cannot be used with a separate testing tool.

² Depicter’s pricing page labels Mailchimp “coming soon”; its WordPress changelog says it was added. Confirm the current version and license. WConvert’s integration directory distinguishes available connections from those marked Soon.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

A few fair questions.

Is Depicter only a slider plugin?

No. It also builds popups, notification bars, forms, multi-step experiences and surveys. It has a lead directory, too. The comparison is about product focus and workflow, not whether Depicter can capture leads.

Can I start collecting emails for free with either product?

Yes. Depicter documents a free popup-form workflow with lead search and CSV export. WConvert Free includes popup and inline forms, a lead log and a MailPoet connection. WSMS is coming soon. Free is available on WordPress.org.

Why does the table say “confirm” for some features?

A missing pricing-page entry is not proof that a feature is unavailable. We could not verify a native A/B testing setup and plan from the reviewed sources. For Mailchimp, Depicter’s pricing still says coming soon, while its WordPress changelog says the integration was added. Confirm the current version and license before relying on it.

Is WConvert always cheaper?

Depicter’s reviewed one-site Starter offer is $39/year; WConvert Pro is $49/year for one site. WConvert includes scheduling in Free. Compare the specific job, the site allowance and the terms rather than assuming one product is always less expensive.

What should I check about renewal?

Depicter displays promotional and crossed-out prices, but we have not treated the crossed-out amount as a confirmed renewal charge. Check your checkout and subscription terms. Its expiry documentation also describes limits on editing and Pro effects after a subscription ends.

Can I use WConvert alongside Depicter?

You may want Depicter for sliders and WConvert for lead capture. Test them together with your theme and other plugins; this page is not a compatibility certification. Disable overlapping popup rules so visitors do not get two invitations at once.

Can I import my Depicter campaigns?

There is no direct Depicter importer in WConvert. Recreate one campaign and check the design, fields, consent, targeting and destination before disabling the original. Existing subscribers can stay in your sending service.

Which is better for privacy?

Review the actual data flow for your setup. WConvert stores leads and core analytics in WordPress and provides retention and personal-data tools. Depicter is also a WordPress plugin with lead management. Hosting, external integrations, verification and any AI services need their own review; neither product makes a site automatically compliant.
