In WConvert, open Settings → Connections & destinations. Choose Add a destination → MailPoet, name it and select your lists.
Use that destination with your email signup form. Check the fields and permission wording, then test your setup before publishing.

MailPoet’s confirmation guideNo. The native MailPoet connection is included in WConvert Free and also works with Pro. Pro adds its own campaign capabilities; it is not needed simply to connect your MailPoet lists. MailPoet’s sending plans and limits are separate.
WConvert and an active MailPoet plugin on the same WordPress site. Create a regular subscriber list in MailPoet first. The connection reads those lists by name, and at least one must be selected on the destination. There is no MailPoet API key to paste into WConvert.
An email address is required. For a new subscriber, WConvert can also send the captured name to MailPoet’s first-name field. Supported MailPoet custom text fields can receive explicitly mapped campaign answers. This does not create provider fields or overwrite existing subscriber details. Phone-only leads are not sent to MailPoet.
Yes. A destination can select more than one MailPoet list. It adds missing memberships without removing other ones or resetting existing membership states. You can reuse a destination across campaigns; editing that shared destination affects every campaign that uses it.
MailPoet owns signup confirmation, sending and current subscription status. WConvert records the form submission and its captured consent evidence. The connection does not restore an existing unsubscribed status, and a successful handoff is not proof that a person confirmed or received an email.
You can use a WConvert campaign to offer a resource and invite people to a newsletter with clear permission. WConvert’s lead-magnet email delivery is a separate destination; the MailPoet connection itself adds the subscriber to your selected lists. Configure the resource delivery separately and explain each purpose in the form.
First check that MailPoet is active, the destination has a valid list and the campaign uses it with an email field. Review the destination’s recent sends and WConvert’s sending issues. Check confirmation and email delivery in MailPoet separately, since those are not the same as saving the contact.
