In WConvert Settings → Connections & destinations, add a Mailchimp connection using your API key.

Create a destination, select your audience and choose whether to keep existing details or update mapped fields.
- Map and test your campaign
Choose the destination in your email signup. Map supported text merge fields, review the signup wording and test confirmation before publishing.
Destinations are reusable. Changing a shared destination affects the campaigns using it.

Mailchimp’s API key guideWhat do I need to connect?
WConvert Pro, a Mailchimp account with an API key and an existing audience. Mailchimp plans and service charges are separate from WConvert.
Can I choose more than one audience?
Choose exactly one Mailchimp audience per destination. You can create separate destinations for different audiences and use them in the relevant campaigns.
Which fields are supported?
Email is required. The captured name goes to FNAME. Supported custom text merge fields can receive explicitly mapped campaign answers. This does not create fields in Mailchimp or provide unrestricted mapping to every Mailchimp field type.
Are new subscribers confirmed automatically?
No. New email-marketing contacts are sent as pending confirmation. Mailchimp handles confirmation and sending. Existing audience members keep their current subscription status.
Can I use the Mailchimp SMS product through this connection?
This WConvert connection targets Mailchimp email audiences. It is not a native Mailchimp SMS subscription integration. The WSMS phone-contact integration is coming soon and is not included at launch.
What if a signup does not appear?
Check the API key, selected audience, valid email and campaign destination. Review recent sends and sending issues in WConvert, then inspect the contact and confirmation state in Mailchimp.
